At least 82 people injured in moderate Iran earthquake

Number of injured people climbs to 104 – severe damage to residential houses
Xinhua news reports : At least 104 people were injured in a 4.9-magnitude earthquake that hit Iran’s western province of Lorestan.
The quake was followed by several minor aftershocks, causing severe damage to residential buildings and some houses experienced power cuts, according to the report. Twenty-six of the injured remained in hospital, while others were released after treatment.

At least 82 people have been injured in Do-rud, when a M 4.9 very shallow earthquake occurred during the  morning  (at 07:22 AM local time).
Based on Iranian Seismological center reporting, the epicenter of the earthquake was near Do-Rud and Razan, although some smaller villages are closer to the epicenter.

Moderate shallow earthquake in the coastal waters of Philippines Burias Island

Indonesia massive M 7.5 earthquake – second big M 6.2 aftershock

Again a powerful shallow aftershock. The strongest so far.
Preliminary records show that the epicenter is again located on the southern edge of South Pagai.
After analyzing satellite pictures we assume that the most important inhabited village is located at the northern side of South Pagai. This location has not been directly hit so far. On the satellite pictures we can see a limited number of modern buildings.

Powerful 6.1 aftershock hits Pagai Island again

Powerful aftershock with a preliminary epicenter at the eastern shores of Mentawai Island South Pagai.
GDACS has just issued a GREEN earthquake alert for this earthquake = very limited chance on damage and/or injuries.
Earthquake-report.com takes this aftershock very serious, as the epicenter is under the island and as eventually earlier damaged buildings from the main quake might collapse. Calculated models from USGS are expecting again a MMI of VI to VII.
