Vanuatu – M 6.0 – Powerful aftershock near Port-Vila

Earthquake Report comment :
Another 3 aftershocks since midnight UTC.
The most powerful was a Magnitude 6.0 with an epicenter in the same area as the first massive shock of M 7.3.  As the epicenter was 40 km further away from the island of Efate, the impact must have been considerably weaker.
GDACS issued a GREEN earthquake alert for this earthquake. There was NO Tsunami risk involved.
