The hypocenter was calculated at a depth of 22 km (USGS data)
Closest towns : Ioannina  and Larisa (128,000 inhabitants)
Grevena (Pop. 10,563) at 12 km from the epicenter.
Epicenter (if confirmed) in a wilderness area.
